You can cancel a confirmed or unconfirmed booking from the booking details page. Before you confirm the cancellation, Withlocals shows the refund you will receive.
Steps to cancel
Open your booking from My Bookings.
Find the Cancel booking action.
Review the refund amount on the cancellation step (full, partial, or none).
Click Continue cancellation.
Select a reason (optional). The options are:
My plans changed
Found better option
Host asked to cancel
Host not responding
Other
Click Cancel booking to finalise.
Your booking moves to cancelled immediately and, if a refund applies, Withlocals starts the refund right away.
How much will you get back?
The cancellation step tells you the exact refund type based on when you cancel:
Full refund if you are still inside the 24-hour grace period after booking.
Partial refund (experience price, minus the service fee) if you are outside the grace period but still more than 7 days before the experience.
No refund if you are within 7 days of the experience.

Consider rescheduling instead
If your plans shifted but you still want the experience, reschedule rather than cancel. On eligible bookings, the cancellation step offers a Reschedule booking option alongside Continue cancellation. See How to reschedule your booking.
Good to know
If your host is not responding, pick Host not responding as the reason so our support team can follow up.
Bookings made through Viator or GetYourGuide must be cancelled on the partner platform. See Booking through Viator or GetYourGuide.
The refund goes back to the payment method you used when booking.
