After your experience you can rate your host and write a short review. The review appears on the experience page, on your host's profile, and in reviews across the site.
How to submit your review
After your experience, you receive an email inviting you to leave a review.
Click the link in the email to open the review form. You can also open the form from My Bookings by selecting the completed booking.
Rate your experience from 1 to 10. The form uses a row of 10 hearts, where 1 is the worst and 10 is the best.
Add a short review title.
Write your review in the text area.
Give a separate price-value rating from 1 to 10, using 10 thumbs-up icons.
Send the review.
What makes a helpful review
Be specific. Mention what stood out, like the food stops, the stories your host told, the pace of the walk, or the places you would not have found on your own. Vague reviews are less useful to future guests and to your host.
Be honest. If something could have been better, say so. Focus on things the host controls, not things like the weather or the city traffic.
Where your review appears
Once published, your review is shown:
On the experience page you booked, in the reviews section
On your host's profile page, together with their other reviews
On city and category pages that feature the experience
In the testimonial section on the Withlocals homepage when picked as a highlight
Reviews are shown with your first name. Your full name and contact details are not shared.
Good to know
You can leave a review as soon as the experience is over. Fresh details make for better reviews.
The review email comes from Withlocals. If you can't find it, check your spam folder or open the booking from My Bookings.
Leaving a review is separate from reporting a problem. You can do both. See Reporting a problem after your experience.
