Understanding your reviews

Updated over 2 weeks ago

After each experience, guests can rate you and leave a written review. Reviews feed into your Guest Satisfaction tier and are shown on your host profile.

What the review form looks like

The review form has four parts:

  • An overall rating from 1 to 10, shown as a row of hearts

  • A price-value rating from 1 to 10, shown as a row of thumbs-up icons

  • A short title

  • A written review

The guest picks a number on each row, types a short title and the review text, then submits.

Where reviews show up

Reviews are published on your host profile and linked to the experience the guest booked. Your average rating is visible to potential guests when they're browsing.

Can I reply to a review?

No. Hosts can't post a public reply to a review. The review stands as the guest's account of the experience.

Can I remove a review?

Guest reviews can't be edited or deleted by the host. If a review contains content that breaks the platform rules, such as personal attacks, spam, or content about the wrong experience, contact Withlocals support.

Good to know

  • Consistently high ratings improve your Guest Satisfaction tier. See Host performance tiers.

  • You can't offer incentives (discounts, gifts) in exchange for reviews.

  • Reviews are public once submitted.
