Two things track how responsive you are: your average response time (shown to guests on your public host page) and your timely response score (part of your host performance).
Average response time on your host page
Your public host page shows "Response time: less than X hours" as part of the host details, where X is your average response time in hours. Guests see this when they view your profile.
The timely response score
Withlocals scores each qualifying response as either in time or not in time, using a limit set by the platform. You earn points for in-time responses and lose points for late ones, within a capped range.
The score converts to a tier: basic, bronze, silver, or gold. You can see your current tier and points on your host dashboard, in the performance section.
The exact scoring rules and time limits are set by Withlocals and may change over time. Your dashboard always shows the current values.
Where to see your score
From your host homepage, open the performance section. You see:
Your current tier.
Your current points.
A history chart showing how your score has moved over time.
Good to know
The score is capped, so a long streak of fast responses does not make the score infinite, and a bad week does not destroy it.
Reviews you receive also feed into a separate performance metric that combines with timely response to set your overall level.
