Your host profile is what guests see when they browse experiences. You edit everything from one place in your host account.
Open Manage profile
Log in to the Withlocals website or open the Withlocals app.
From your host dashboard, tap Manage profile.
Pick the section you want to edit.
Sections on Manage profile
City: the city where you host.
Basic information: first name, last name, date of birth, gender. Last name, date of birth, and gender are private.
Public information: profile photo, personal title, and your personal description (bio). This is the public-facing content guests see.
Contact information: phone and email, each verified with a code.
Languages: the languages you can host in. Guests filter by language.
Transportation mode: the modes you use when hosting (walking, public transport, bicycle, car, boat, scooter, tuktuk) and the number of people you can take.
Licenses: tour guide licenses or other credentials.
Expertise: your topic areas from a predefined list (art, history, food, nightlife, and more).
Invoicing details: invoice address, individual or company, VAT number.
Public information in detail
The Public information section is the one guests actually see. It has:
Profile photo: a picture of you.
Personal title: a short job-style title for how you present yourself as a host.
Personal description: your longer bio explaining who you are and what you love about your city.
A complete Public information section performs better in search. The form flags the section as complete when all three fields are filled in and the default avatar is replaced.
Good to know
Changes save when you tap Save on each section's form.
Your host profile and your account details are edited from the same Manage profile page, so you don't need to switch screens.
If you need to delete your account entirely, there's a link at the bottom of Manage profile. See How to delete your account.
