How does invoicing work

Withlocals is a marketplace. We connect you with a local host and handle the payment on top, but we're not the merchant on your booking. The experience is sold to you by your host, and the service fee you pay at checkout is a separate payment to Withlocals.

Invoice for the experience (from your host)

Your host is the legal seller of the experience. If you need an invoice for the experience itself (the tour price you paid at checkout), ask your host. You can reach them through the chat on your booking page. Just share any details they need to put on the invoice, such as your company name and VAT number.

What Withlocals can provide

As we're not the legal seller, Withlocals can't issue invoices. What we can send you is an Order Confirmation, which for most bookkeeping and expense purposes works as a good alternative. It shows your experience, date, number of guests, and the total amount paid. To request one, just message us with your booking reference. You'll find it in your booking confirmation email and on your booking page.
