Currency
Prices are shown in your local currency based on your location, so you always know what to expect. All charges are processed in EUR (euros). Your bank may apply a small currency conversion fee if your account is in a different currency - check with your bank for details.
When are you charged?
You are charged at the time of booking. The full amount is deducted from your chosen payment method as soon as you complete checkout. There are no additional charges on the day of your experience.

Can I pay on the day?
No. All bookings on Withlocals are prepaid online. This guarantees your spot and lets your host prepare for your arrival. There is no option to pay in cash or on location.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through a secure payment provider with industry-standard encryption. Your card details are never shared with hosts or stored on Withlocals servers. Many transactions also require 3D Secure verification from your bank for an extra layer of protection.
