This article only applies to hosts on Stripe Connect. If your payouts go through PayPal or bank transfer (SEPA/Wise), Withlocals handles your payouts directly and you cannot request one manually. Not sure which method you are on? See How do payouts work?.
If you are on Stripe Connect and don't want to wait for the next scheduled payout, you can start one yourself from the Finances section of your host dashboard.
How to request one
Open the Finances section of your host dashboard.
On the home page, tap Request payout now in the balance overview.
On the Request payout page, confirm the balance shown.
Tap Request payout.
The confirmation page confirms the amount that has been processed.
When the button is available
Request payout now only works when your Available for payout balance is greater than zero. If your balance is zero, the link is disabled on the home page.
A manual request sends your full available balance, not a partial amount.
If you're on Manual Payout
If your schedule is set to Manual, every payout is a manual request. Scheduled automatic payouts are off, and you start each payout from the same Request payout now button. After a manual payout is processed, wait until it completes before requesting the next one.
Good to know
Your bank's processing time still applies after you tap the button. The money isn't instant in your bank account.
Requesting a payout does not change your payout frequency setting.
