This article only applies to hosts on Stripe Connect. If your payouts go through PayPal or bank transfer (SEPA/Wise), Withlocals handles your payout schedule directly and you do not have the option to change it yourself. Not sure which method you are on? See How do payouts work?.
If you are on Stripe Connect, you control how often Withlocals pays out your available balance from the Finances section of your host dashboard.
There are four options.
Available options
Option | How it works |
Daily Payout | Available funds are deposited every day. |
Weekly Payout | You pick a day of the week. Available funds are deposited every week on that day. |
Monthly Payout | You pick a day of the month. If you pick the 29th, 30th, or 31st, in short months the payout happens on the last day of the month. |
Manual Payout | Scheduled payouts are off. You start each payout yourself whenever you want your funds. |
How to change it
Open the Finances section of your host dashboard.
On the home page, tap Change payout frequency.
On the Payout frequency page, pick Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Manual.
For weekly, pick the day of the week. For monthly, pick the day of the month.
Tap the Enable button for that option to save.
The page confirms the change and shows the date of your next scheduled payout.
Good to know
The selected frequency is shown on the Finances home page in the balance overview under Frequency.
You can change frequency at any time. Your bank's processing time still applies on top of the scheduled date.
If you switch to Manual, you need to have a balance greater than zero and wait until any ongoing payout has processed before switching frequency again.
