How to delete your account

You can delete your Withlocals account yourself from the host profile management page. Deletion is permanent.

How to start deletion

  1. Log in to the Withlocals website or app.

  2. From your host dashboard, tap Manage profile.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and open the account deletion link.

  4. Fill in the reason, type the word delete to confirm, and tick the confirmation checkbox.

  5. Tap Delete account.

What happens next

  • Within 1 hour: your account is deactivated and you're logged out on all devices.

  • After 30 days: all information associated with your account is permanently deleted.

  • During those 30 days: we can still cancel the deletion and recover the account if you change your mind.

When you delete your account:

  • Your future bookings are cancelled.

  • Your account information, including bookings, invoices, and chat messages, is removed.

  • Any future payouts are prevented.

Changed your mind?

If you're still within the 30-day window, tell us the email the account is registered to and we'll stop the deletion and recover the account. Once the 30 days pass, the account can't be restored.
