How to change your personal details

Your personal details live on the Manage profile page in your host account. That's where you update your name, date of birth, contact info, and invoicing address.

Open Manage profile

  1. Log in to the Withlocals website or open the Withlocals app.

  2. From your host dashboard, tap Manage profile.

  3. Pick the section you want to change.

What each section holds

Section

What you can edit

Basic information

First name, last name, date of birth, gender

Contact information

Phone number, email address (both need to be verified)

Invoicing details

Individual or company, company name, VAT number, invoice address

Basic information like your last name, date of birth, and gender is private and is not shown to guests.

Invoicing details

Invoicing details open in a separate form. You can switch between Individual and Company. If you pick Company, you fill in a company name, and for EU countries a VAT number. The invoice address is required in both cases and is used on your payout documents.

Verifying your phone or email

When you change your phone number or email, you need to confirm it with a verification code sent to the new number or address. Until you confirm, the old value stays active.
