Some of your bookings come from partner platforms. The guest found your experience on the partner site, booked there, and the booking is then created in your Withlocals dashboard. Withlocals distributes experiences via Viator and GetYourGuide.
How to recognise a partner booking
On the booking detail page, a Partner booking banner sits at the top. It shows the partner's name and, when available, the external reference from the partner platform.
In your chat, a partner guest's conversation shows a Partner account banner where the message input would normally be. Chat with partner guests is locked: the guest does not see Withlocals chat and anything you type there would not reach them.
What you can and cannot do
You can:
See the booking in your dashboard alongside direct bookings.
See the date, time, number of guests, meeting point, and any special request.
See the guest name and contact details attached to the booking.
You cannot:
Chat with the guest inside Withlocals. Use the contact details on the booking page instead.
Transfer the booking to another host if it is not eligible (Withlocals tells you when that is the case).
Opt out of partner bookings from your own settings. The partner-exclusion flag exists on your account but is managed by Withlocals, not self-serve. Contact Withlocals support if you want to be excluded from partner bookings.
Good to know
Payout for partner bookings runs through the normal payout process. The partner-specific pricing policy determines the amount.
Partner bookings count toward your host metrics like direct bookings.
Reviews from partner guests usually live on the partner platform, not on your Withlocals profile.
If a partner booking has an issue, contact Withlocals support from the booking page. Support coordinates with the partner when needed.
