Editing your experience

What you can edit depends on whether the experience is a Withlocals Originals you've joined, or a host offer you submitted yourself.

Withlocals Originals

Originals experiences are built and maintained by the Withlocals team. The title, description, itinerary, meeting point, photos, starting times, and price are shared across every host on the experience, and you can't change them.

On an Originals experience you can:

  • View all the details (Basics, Inclusions, Directions tabs)

  • Read and submit community notes on the Manage tab to share tips or ask questions to other hosts

  • Leave the experience from the Manage tab if you no longer want to host it

  • Set a per-experience exception to your default book-ahead time (see Minimum booking notice)

If something on an Originals experience needs to change (a closed venue, an updated route, a new meeting point), contact the Withlocals team.

Your own host offers

Host offers you submitted yourself are editable from the same five-step form you used to create them:

  1. Open Experiences in your host dashboard.

  2. Find the offer under Your host offers.

  3. Tap Edit to reopen the form at the step you want to change.

  4. Save your changes.

From the same page you can also publish or unpublish the offer, and delete it while it's unpublished or still a draft.

Status labels on host offers

  • Draft or Unpublished: only visible to you. Edit freely.

  • In review: submitted and waiting for the Withlocals team. You can still open the form.

  • Published: live on withlocals.com and bookable by guests.

Good to know

  • Editing photos on an Originals experience is not possible. On your own host offer, photos are editable while the offer is in draft or under review. After approval, contact the Withlocals team to change photos.

  • The pricing table is locked on Originals experiences. On your own host offers, you set a per-person price for each group size.

  • Starting times on your own host offer are picked from a 24-hour grid in 30-minute slots.
